Congratulations for releasing the biggest LÖVE update in history :), but I have a small problem: I’m using ubuntu 13.10 and to install LÖVE 0.9 I need libsdl2-2.0.1 which I can't find. Another question I would like to know is what are the benefits of having LÖVE as a library (liblove)?
Thanks for this great release, I can't wait to play with it.

This is great news, and I look forward to messing around with this!

I hate to be a downer, but.. the 32 bit zip link http://cdn.bitbucket.org/rude/love/down ... -win32.zip gives a 404, and the 32 bit installer's included love.exe is raising a warning flag in avast (false positive?).

It's in my ppa, but it is indeed not in the standard ubuntu repositories.

This means that you don't need to run love standalone, but you could, for instance, load this from a running lua session. It also means it's easier to develop native extensions for.. I think. In any case, this is an architectural change, and liblove is one of the dependencies of the love package.

Slime, you have been off the hook working on this version so hard. Thanks big fat buckets to you and to all who contributed to this release. It's a doozy.
