I didn't find any info in the OP, but I assume this is for posting free resources for game development.
Something I'm using in an upcoming project(coming mid-2014 hopefully, if anyone's interested!): http://www.superflashbros.net/as3sfxr/
It takes some getting used to, but once you know how to use it it's GREAT!!

a very useful tool called format factory: http://www.pcfreetime.com/
Re: Free game resources
Just to add to what JJ posted, here's something similar I found quite useful: http://www.online-convert.com/
I use it all the time for converting WAV's to OGG's. Works like a charm for me.

Hello, this is DST. I have a site devoted to free game music for everyone using creative commons attribution license. You can use them commercially too.
The site is http://www.nosoapradio.us and currently features 500 tracks (20 hours) of game music.
Enjoy (and please add to the resources page if you see fit!)

I really like Game-Icons.net – various SVG and PNG icons. There's more than a thousand now.

Re: Free game resources
I didn't really knew where to post it, so I decided it can fit here. I came accross it on Twitter, thanks to Martin Felis.
For those of you who are interested in making platformer based action-paced game, this is worth checking out.
The article itself, 30 tricks to make your action game feel better along comes with a link to download an interactive Unity game app.
Enjoy!

You are right, David.Davidobot wrote:Unity? What Unity? It's pure gamemaker right there.
I guess I was really tired when I wrote this. At least, the link is good.
Here is another link to 10k free arts/assets from the discontinued project Glith
