Re: Jasoco's 3D Model Extravaganza.. Does anyone like STAR FOX?

Post by Jasoco »

Since I haven't really done anything with this in a few weeks, I'm offering the latest code for you to play with. I'm planning on using the techniques I learned from this 3D model project in my main Adventure game project. Somehow. Not sure how yet.

Doesn't do anything. Movement is quirky. Enemies don't exist. Collisions don't exist. Not optimized. Maybe one day I'll get the passion to finish the Star Fox clone back.

I also included the latest version of the 3D model viewer.

Enjoy.

Really, really cool. How did you manage to get a decent framerate?

Awesoooooooome! This is really cool! I love Star Fox, I played it on an emu, stopped at either a level where you have to align your plane to a given formation or a level where the boss refused to die after hundreds of retry ... .

Great work Jasoco! [Need to enlarge the window, barely can see the laser when the ship's took flight.] What we need now is a thruster, a bomb, and some terrain to fly on. ^^
Aargh, I am wasting my posts! My citizenshiiiip... :o

Awh, can't try it out since the forum ate all the attachments. I think I have a pretty simple idea in which you can make a really fun game out of this.

Bumping a topic means replying in an inactive topic so that it is 'bumped' to the top of the forum and is more likely to be noticed/ read.
