With 7mins left of development time, I think ill call it.
I present: SpaceHeist. You have stolen some valuable space currency and therefore the entire space police is after you. Shoot them down and survive as long as possible. But beware, the spawnrate goes down and you will eventually be overrun. You can not win, only live a little bit longer... CRIME DOES NOT PAY!
Controlls:
WASD - move
Left Mouse - Shoot
SPACE - Stealth
M - Mute Music
N - Mute SFX
PowerUps:
Green = + 1 HP
Blue with red "/" = 10% attack speed.

Re: LÖVE-Jam 1
Here's my entry:
AsterVoid
You control the bottom left planet and must fire gravity beams at the asteroids towards other planets. You win by being the last planet alive.
(Your satellite fires the beams)
Type: Action
Controls:
left/a = move your satellite anticlockwise
right/d = move your satellite clockwise
left click = hold to fire your beam at mouse position
esc = closes the game
r = restarts the game (on game over screen)
enter = starts the game (after selecting difficulty)
- = decreases screen size by 20
+ = increases screen size by 20
Time taken: 8-12 hours
Libraries used:
resolution.lua
vector.lua
(both my own invention, and I give you my permission to use them yourself if you, for whatever reason, wish to, same applies for the assets)
Screens:
Difficulty select (title screen) In game Woops, i got distracted pressing print screen and shot randomly into space
Fun fact: All images are a combination of warped textures using a paint.net extension "Shape3D". Except for the background, which is just the cloud renderer set to blue

Re: LÖVE-Jam 1
Sorry, I'm gonna cancel my participation. Sunday's emergency hard physical works 'till late night killed all the enthusiasm.
The entry planned would be hilarious though, a remake of "Watch Out Behind You, Hunter" game. I've even gathered all the sounds required and created a level generator, but the project stalled and I won't make it in time.

Re: LÖVE-Jam 1
I wanted to, but didn't have much time that weekend, not really a good idea for the theme and not too confident yet I could put something together in such a short time.
Re: LÖVE-Jam 1
That's it guys. Submitting is over! I will be putting up poll to vote for the best game.
PM me on here or elsewhere if you'd like to discuss porting your game to Nintendo Switch via mazette!

Re: LÖVE-Jam 1
Hm... I don't know. For the first Love Jam in a long time, I think so many very playable games are quite nice. I remember competitions on other forums with less entries, even though they had large prices.Jeeper wrote:Is posting over? I must say it is a disappointing number who participated :/...
