I'm playing it with an Xbox360 controller because I don't like the keyboard controls (actually I don't like the keyboard at all...); anyway, I mapped the dashes on the arrow keys, use and bomb on Q and E and I played a lot better before getting the controller.
I'm glad to hear you like it. And yea, playing with a controller is sooo much better. I also think the keyboard controls are kinda awkward but I couldn't figure out better ones and letting players change the controls seems like a pain to implement. Eventually I'll get to it...
I changed a few things again:
You now start with a random weapon (initially out of a pool of 4, you can unlock more later as you beat the game)
Buffed Ember and Rock Throw
Added a hold to jump option. When it's off you'll jump the whole way by only pressing the jump key. When it's on you'll stop going up when you release the jump key.
I think that the rock was fine before, isn't it a bit too powerful now? P.S: I don't know if you read that, but a Sonic Rainboom instead of a dash when having Rainbow Dash would make the game about 20% cooler.

Also I read it. I'm just not going to implement anything substantial (like a sonic rainboom) right now. Surely eventually (if the Rainbow Dash item is still around) I'll add it.
I just hate it when you get caught in the "cross-fire". That's when two groups of ennemies are approaching you from both sides and no matter what you do you get hit.
How about extending the dash, so your character wouldn't collide with enemies and be safe?
Great game and awesome music!
I have a quesition, when I run toward the wall and jump up(hold on "A" or "D"), I will stick to the wall.Is that a bug?
I have checked it again, close to the yellow cube(door?) will get this.
Thanks for sharing!
