Octave

Post by grammidin »

Small game. You need to press the keys of a piano to tune out. All tunes are played on the same octave :)

Using OS X here, but don't want to boot into Windows... because I don't really trust this file. No pictures, 20 word description and the first post the guys made... and it's an EXE! So... just my opinion. Not saying it is a virus, just saying it looks a little dodgy.

I am also on OSX. If anyone has actually played it, is it any good?

Protip: On OSX and Linux you can start the game with

Code: Select all

love Octave.exe
In fact this works with every LÖVE game that was packed in a windows executable.

Or, due to specifics of the zip format, you can change the extension to .zip and unzip it as normal. Changing extension to .love should work as well.

Oh, right, I forgot. I actually made a .love from it without the .exe crap, but forgot to upload it:

"Error: load.lua 296. Attempted to index field "songs" (a nil value)"

Does anyone actually have any images of this working or any opinions on it?

It should work, if you will place the songs.xml file in the same place where your *.love file is =)
