Yeah there's a saying about it:

Once you've finished first 95% of your code, you only need to finish the other 95% of your code.

ZeroBrane works on the Mac.
There are others: https://bitbucket.org/kevinclancy/love-studio/. This is and IDE that I made that has many features which few other IDEs have. For example, it provides type checking, really good intellisense, and an error-trapping debugger. But it seems that everyone has forgotten about it. Le sigh.

I took a look at the IDE. My favorite O/S is Ubuntu Linux 12.04. I couldn't get the IDE to run under that environment with Wine. It installed just fine though, but I didn't do any troubleshooting either.

I then tried the IDE under Windows 7. It installed fine again, but I had a bit of difficulty with loading a project. I loaded my main.lua alone into a new Project. It refused to run immediately. I then loaded my conf.lua and anal.lua. It still refused to run with numerous errors. I don't have these issues with ZeroBrane. I'm sure your IDE might be awesome, but I can't figure it out in less than 5 minutes.

The problem might be as simple as needing all the new files in the same folder as my project folder. I'll look over the instructions to see if I missed anything.

I also couldn't load files from the system window by double-clicking. That's just a small nag though.

Edit: The software works after disabling Type Checking.

The fact that he last logged in on the 8th makes me think that he has probably abandoned this...

Okay so I saw a few comments people have been posting and yes I know I was suppose to release it a few weeks ago but I haven't had my computer since August 9th so I am sorry about not releasing it anytime soon. I just got another computer yesterday and I am going to be releasing it VERY shortly, I'm hoping before September 2nd.

For those of you have been waiting for a long time and think I have abandoned you I am sorry, but I haven't abandoned you or this software. I am working on it right now (luckily I have the source on the cloud).

If anyone has questions don't hesitate to ask!
