Tiled tutorial help

I'm trying to use this tutorial to use Tiled in LOVE2D. After simply attempting to apply the principles, I finally broke down and ended up copypasting the code into my file word for word just to see if I could get it to work. What's weird is that the document provided works just fine, but not my copy of it. It's certainly possible that my code is messing it up, but my code is solid as long as I leave the tutorial stuff out of it.

I have the latest version of Tiled, and I opened and saved both maps in it. I suspected the tutorial might be outdated, but for some reason the tutorial file still works but mine does not.

The error I'm getting is: attempt to index field 'tl' (a nil value). Curiously, I see no reference to 'tl' anywhere else in the whole code (which would explain why it is 'nil') and yet it works fine on the tutorial.

I'm planning to sell this game at some point or put it on Kickstarter, so I'm not asking anyone to do my work for me, but can someone who uses Tiled tell me what the "proper" syntax for this tutorial would be on the latest version of Tiled?

I don't know, but on that very page, people ask about the tl value in the comments.

And although I just had it open, for some reason, it's not loading the page anymore, but I'd say read those comments.

You need to actually use an old version of ATL(AdvancedTiledLoader), because the new version does not have the tl value.

Watch a tutorial by Goature linked below and download his assets to get the old version.
