Re: Whatever happened to the unicorns?
The solution would be a whole new board, titled 'Utterly Off Topic'.
Re: Whatever happened to the unicorns?
Most forums have it, actually, but love2d.org for some reason does not. Must be foolishly assumes it's not necessary.
Re: Whatever happened to the unicorns?
Then go to those forums and talk about off-topic stuff.
I can understand Bartbes' point; the forum was made for discussion about the framework, and - to maintain a level of professionalism and presentability - should stay relevant to the framework. There are plenty of other places to talk about off-topic things, places that aren't bridling new and developing identities.
but on the other hand I like ponies.
In the end it's the admin's call. It doesn't matter to me, though, what they may decide.

Re: Whatever happened to the unicorns?
Well.... I had a good laugh at that
Also, since this is about unicorns, I'm going to talk about something on topic, Space Unicorns. I think this thread brought the unicorns back to LÖVE. One thing we need(because I can't find it, so I assume it isn't here): Spoilers. The little boxes you can collapse.
More relevant to recent discussion on this thread: I agree: Almost all forums I visit(Except Gamedev.net and here) have an off topic section, usually called "Talkbox". It's for anything that doesn't belong in other forums, and you can post ANYTHING there. If LÖVE had one, it would have interesting results...
And: I don't like ponies, horses, donkeys, or unicorns. Is this the part where the internet tries to kill me?
