The only reason that I use love2d is because it is faster to type (unless you have LÖVE always copied to your clipboard, ready for action as soon as the need arises)Robin wrote:Meh. I'd still go with LÖVE. Most people will probably find the Facebook page via the main website or their friends.
But then, I personally find people talking about LUA and love2d really, really annoying and do not want to encourage them. Others might not share my opinion.

Just silly key combinations!Jasoco wrote:Ö and ö are so easy to type on OS X. Ñö silly númbêrs tö rêmëmbér.
Do you recognise when the world won't stop for you? Or when the days don't care what you've got to do? When the weight's too tough to lift up, what do you? Don't let them choose for you, that's on you.

Not really. Alt + U for the Umlaut. Makes sense to me. Note in html notation, you would write Ö as Ö

Re: Facebook
I for one would be glad to have a LÖVE thing on Facebook, as long as it's civilized.[facebook page]
Regarding LÖVE vs Love2d as Facebook name: when I enter "lö" in facebook, I get "lo..." as well as "lö..." results (the latter being quite a minority because I have only one friend whose last name is lion in German).
On pages, the page itself is the main owner and it's more like a blog where the most important actor would be LÖVE. Pages are great for announcements or user-to-company communication. A group (with a "development related discussion only, no promotion" rule definitely) might be more useful, if you're aimin at something more community action and interaction focused, even though more tedious to administer (so many bots every day trying to join http://facebook.com/groups/berlinminijam/ and every week or so there's some marketing person that looks kind of legit but just joins to promote a website or product).
Name suggestion "LÖVE Game Developers". And a clarification in the description that it is a community group and not an official one. And no puns for stratosphere's sake!
I'd be glad to help out moderating, I'm http://facebook.com/qubodup
