Re: Oldskool pseudo RPG
Aha, this game is hard as hell but it's impressive for a single night of work The graphics remind me of SkyFree.
There aren't enough RPGs made with Löve.

Re: Oldskool pseudo RPG
Feels more like an action game than an RPG at this point. That's not a bad thing though.
My game called Hat Cat and the Obvious Crimes Against the Fundamental Laws of Physics is out now!

It's hard
But, you did a good job for a night's work. Well done.

PM me on here or elsewhere if you'd like to discuss porting your game to Nintendo Switch via mazette!

Thank you for your compliments
Is it irony or are there really not enough RPGs? I have no idea of how many RPGs there are.
I didn't know SkyFree before but yes it looks indeed like my little piece of codeDaniel Eakins wrote:Aha, this game is hard as hell but it's impressive for a single night of work The graphics remind me of SkyFree.

It was my intention to make it hard (also it is easier making a hard game then making an easy game i think)Davidobot wrote:It's hard

I just named it like the first idea that came to my head so i named it RPG. You are right it's more an action-adventure-thingy.T-Bone wrote:Feels more like an action game than an RPG at this point. That's not a bad thing though.

Well as a matter of fact I can't actually find any. There may be some but I think there really aren't enough. There is a potential to make games that are so much better than RPG Maker games, for instance, but that potential hasn't quite been developed yet (then again Löve is a much recent framework than RPG Maker).SCARD wrote:Is it irony or are there really not enough RPGs?
