Id be really interested to see other love wargames/rtses/tbses, so I can get some ideas for my gui, ai, etc. right now I'm focusing on the economic model side of the game which is going to be much more important than it is in other games. already each tile has a capital and labor intensity, a fertility which can be improved, labor that can only be sent out from towns in a certain radius, a tech level which reduces the labor/capital intensity respectively, and a rudimentary division of rent/wages/profits. right now you can only play as a capitalist. in the future I want to add the other two sides as playable but that is a long way off.

The "FUK U" in the corner on the mini-map really caught my eye. XD
Nice job on the game, anywho.

Yeah all the little maps I've made to test the game out have had obscenities in them, its going to have to be an Easter egg if I ever finish this thing.

Well, it might not seem like it, but I'm working on NOM again! You probably have no idea what it is, but LibGDX is helping me. Their support for Tiled Map rendering is helping me with collision detection, so I can add that to the LÖVE version of it. Basically, what I do it check the 3 tiles in the area of me(say, on the top left, top middle, and top right), get the tile, get all of the tiles properties and see if it has a particular key. All this goes in a boolean variable(say called "collisionX"), and if it is true, I handle the collision by setting the player's X position to the player's old X position and make it's velocity 0. It's really simple. I actually really like Java, and it's up there in my top 3 favourite programming languages. I don't have a screenshot to post yet, but when I do I'll be sure to post it here.

Maybe all I needed was a little break from LÖVE, because now I'm feeling better!

apparently someone took out an american's mouth and now it's become sentient

That does look interesting, however. Though, I don't recognize it with another game.

I'll explain more when I make a thread, but this should be enough to help you figure it out..

Hi folks, I'm new here.

This is what I've been working on:

It's local head to head.
