Re: web in lua
OP's question was:
How can one display PHP or HTML file in love2d, and how can one display a video clip?
You can't display PHP other than plain text in client, to actually process it you need php interpereter installed (which generates you HTML). And to display HTML you need to use HTML rendering engine, like Gecko. But you can simply request system-installed browser to display certain web page. If you don't want any special stuffa and only want to read text from the internet, Lua's network library provides a couple of functions to access web pages, that you can then parse and display via your game's GUI.
As far as I see it, love2d does not provides any video media file reading and displaying functions. Not to mention Lua itself, it doesn't do that by design.

You really shouldn't just remove your post like that after your question was answered. Other people may have had the same issue and may find this thread as their answer. Removing it also just confuses the discussion.jjmafiae wrote:i got too many board issues thingys maybe because my head hurts today, i got hit by that baseball like thingRobin wrote:Are you referring to the fact that you edited your post to exclude any mention of .wav files?jjmafiae wrote:ups......
