I want the bullets to travel really fast, so I'm gonna stick with this ray casting method for now. Different types of guns will work differently however. The .357 only fires a single bullet at a time, I plan to add an SMG, burst-fire assault rifle and a shotgun to play with different kinds of shooting mechanics. The shotgun will probably be the most different - I imagine it to work like the ones in Metal Slug, just covering a wide, short area.

Some ideas for UnLove:

For all you windows players out there (like myself :neko: ), make it say "Return/Enter" because that slightly annoys me.
Add support for WASD.
Add support for left shift switching
Add support for click attack! Maybe even mouse-controlled movement! (Able to turn on/off in menu.)
Add a better system for attack direction.

Great game, though.

All that will be added when I've finished implementing the menu for changing keys, which is almost done to be honest. Although the way I wrote it is really.... crap. I might have to rewrite it, but it will be more simple and shouldn't take too much effort.

Is this dead? I just think it looks like a really neat game, too bad I can't play it. It's outdated. :(

Oh wow, this is ooooold. Um, maybe I could attempt to remake it or something. I like the idea of a Robotron style game, it's simple but has the potential to be really deep for those that enjoy it.

really cool :D
maybe make the zombies spawn offscreen and walk in (around the edges) instead of spawning right in the middle. highly unlikely a zombie will fall from the sky. :d
