A couple years back I made a DOS-like game that looked like Dwarf Fortress but played like Minecraft, and now I was thinking that would probably be more fun switched around, so I started kicking around the idea of "Block Fortress"

Block Fortress is a game where a group of 10 people are dropped off in the middle of nowhere and are forced to survive and create their colony. You can direct them to do whatever you want, by assigning them different jobs.

Some job ideas:

Farmer
Woodcutter
Miner
Crafter
Cook
Hunter
Fisherman
Jewelcrafter
And many many more.

Basically, your objective is to create a thriving society from nothing.
