Site/forum improvements: propagate irc and more

Post by qubodup »

Please do the following for the good of all of us: you, me, LÖVE.

Add

Code: Select all

 - <a href="http://love.sourceforge.net/chat">Chat</a>
to the header of the forum template, next to where the Homepage and Documentation links are located.

Add a page containing following text to the homepage system.

Code: Select all

<p>Our chat room is #freegamer on irc.freenode.net.</p>

<p>If your browser supports IRC, you can use <a href="irc://irc.freenode.net/freegamer" rel="nofollow">this direct link</a>.</p>

<p>You can also join the chat via <a href="http://java.freenode.net//index.php?channel=loveclub&nick=lover" rel="nofollow">this</a> embedded java client or via <a href="http://embed.mibbit.com/?server=irc.freenode.net&nick=lover&channel=%23loveclub&chatOutputShowTimes=true" rel="nofollow">this</a> embedded flash client.</p>
and call it "Chat" and put it into love.sf.net/chat

Please fix the forum link on the homepage too.

I hope you agree in these steps making sense and that you can find the time.

lg.newImage("cat.png") -- made possible by lg = love.graphics
-- Don't force fullscreen (it frustrates those who want to try your game real quick) -- Develop for 1280x720 (so people can make HD videos)

Hi, I'm new here!
One suggestion would be to have more categories in the forum, everything in two piles is quite messy
Also, Löve is awesome :D

We used to have only one "pile", but now we have two and I think two are fine for now.
Anyway, what other characters are there than "Support" and "Other shit"?

in a way, yes.

Jeg elskër nörsk.

hmm, the pun is less obvious with Norwegian words ;)

Good luck, again.

About the forum, I like it this way. 2 parts are enough. I don't like when there are too many subforums, it tends to be too complicated to find the good section.
