Re: Pröxima - A Space RTS
Hehe, he does make a point, and touché with no computer having 1x1 resolution. Definitely 640x480 - don't jeopardize your eventual audience simply because they happen to have a notebook or a wacky resolution! How's the progress coming along? Any more screenshots? Personally I like the menu interface...

Re: Pröxima - A Space RTS
I would love if this game was compatible on say, both my 1024x600 Netbook and my 1680x1050 widescreen, 20" Desktop.
I could do some simple gaming on the go... and some serious gaming when I can put my speakers on loud and bug the neighbors.

I've heard nothing back from Avapi, yet. So I'm still very much at square one!

Re: My Introduction
Haha, well, in a more simplistic way of looking at things - I can also tell when a game is badly conceptualized, terribly put together, has poor graphics and might appeal to 11 and 12 year olds. Generally speaking, to me, a game has to have a well developed storyline - Starcraft and Starcraft: Brood...

My Introduction
Hey Love2D community, i'm pretty much new here, I came in search of putting together a team for working on a project of mine. See my original first post on project recruitment . I have a tonne of experience gaming :). Not sure if that amounts to anything, but I generally know what - to me at least -...

Re: Pröxima - A Space RTS
No worries for the Shellcore Ep1 link, it annoys me how games on Kongregate get high ratings so easily and subsequently cash prizes (highest rated monthly: $1,000 and highest weekly $250). The game isn't even completely finished, it's buggy and is only part 1 of an entire game - yet it gets 4/5 and ...

Re: Pröxima - A Space RTS
1280x800 for my desktop, but have to switch down a notch - same as the previous guy mentioned with the widescreen issue... My Notebook laptop is a 1024x600... means it can't run... pretty much anything that needs bigger than that and or/requires a graphics card with devoted memory cache and separate...

Re: Project Recruiting: Top Down Action Shooter
profits will be split equally amongst all involved. Also, that's a bad idea. Do it based upon contribution, otherwise the guy who designed a single vector graphic, will get paid as much as the guy who designed twenty vector graphics. ;) I thought that was pretty straightforward :) - of course, if y...

Re: Project Recruiting: Top Down Action Shooter
Hehe. Well I'd much rather have your response than: 'omg no, impossible... you need to go find some c++ engine and professional coders etc'... I actually added that in as an edit - since I didn't really even mention how the game was to be played! You think what I am asking for is possible/likely? I ...
