Is the player meant to be able to move? At the moment I can jiggle him left or right by 1 but he doesn't actually move!

It turns out the second most recent Nvidia driver for his card simply didn't draw canvases at all - tested using your lighting example. After updating his drivers the game functioned as it should!

It's probably an issue with canvases or shaders, though I've no idea how such a good graphics card could take issue with that. If the menus render fine, can you try turning off the shaders in the options menu. Try turning off noise and bloom first, then try turning off motion blur as well. We turne...

Well the environmental lights could be stronger than the player's light - so he feels like they are helpful - or you could add a background texture they affect, etc.

At the moment I am banging my head against canvases but later on I shall definitely correct some of those signs for you!

This is pretty cool. I like how precise the controls are, although I am not a fan of this type of game. The lighting doesn't seem to have much impact as the player's light is so strong - might be worth making your inherent light much weaker so the torches stand out more. Also because the background ...
