Re: Slither Link
Hi! It looks like you're new here. If so, welcome! A *.love file is just a *.zip file in disguise, so if you rename it to "whatever.zip" and extract the contents, the original files should be right in there. Most of the code is in "main.lua". Better still, if you install love (fr...

Re: Tiny Test, order from chaos
pakoskyfrog, I read your post, but forgot to reply.
Really cool.
I wasn't seeing an actual application for this, I'm glad somebody found one!
Looks like you could genuinely make a game out of pretty much anything.
Awesome.

Re: Slither Link
That's true. The puzzle generation codes I know usually put random numbers into the grid and then try to solve the puzzle. If the puzzle has a unique solution, puzzle generation was successful, otherwise, some numbers are changed, until the solution exists and is unique. That's a good idea. I was w...

Good idea. I've added one, but it's not ideal.pakoskyfrog wrote:It misses a renormalizer, to zoom in during iterations.
I've been making löve all day (...no pun intended) so I'm just going to go to bed.
First time I've used love.graphics.push/pop before though

Tiny Test, order from chaos
Really simple, small example. Sorry if this is not "worthy" for projects and demos. If not, feel free not to post and let the thread sink to the bottom. It's just interesting. Midpoints.love Edit: Added a (rough'n'ready) zooming in feature Midpoints+normal.love Edit 2: Download this one Mi...

Re: Slither Link
I see where you're coming from. We'll have to agree to disagree, though. Maybe is is much easier with a mouse to point and click. Plus, I like being able to do two/three lines/crosses at once. If I was planning to release this/if and I release this, I guess I would have an option to choose between t...

Slither Link
If anyone hasn't played Slither Link (a.k.a. Puzzle Loop) (I'd be surprised if many people have), it's a puzzle where you must create a loop by surrounding the cells with the correct number of lines. So a box with a 3 in should have three adjacent lines. Also, when you finish, there should be one co...

Re: Looping audio problem
You might have to use headphones to hear it, it's a bit lower than I wanted it. When I exported it with Audacity, I only got an option of quality, 1-10, so I chose 10. VLC says it is 499 kb/s... whoah. The audio file is about 3 seconds long, don't know what to suggest if this one doesn't work. loopi...
