Re: Can't get controllers vibrating (X360 pads, Win 8.1)
For now, try throwing joystick:setVibration( left, right ) at it anyways. It doesn't error out, and it still returns false, but it does actually work. Had the same problem with my normal DirectInput joystick (a PS2 controller via USB adaptor, best shit m8). It had vibration, and passing joystick:set...

Re: Quick question: Discarding unused resources?
And this will remove the resource itself from memory, not just the object associated with it? So if I remove all references to an Image or Canvas, eventually the graphics card memory will be freed?

Re: Problem with LOVE and Notepad++ [nppexec]
Oh mess it all, I think running my test .bat files and adding love._openConsole() has worked well enough for me. I'll stick with that for a while...

Quick question: Discarding unused resources?
How would I unload graphics or sounds? Does the garbage collector do it (as in setting all its reference indices to nil so it becomes unused)?

Re: Problem with LOVE and Notepad++ [nppexec]
I had the same problem. An old post by Imp1 had a workaround that fixed it for me. Create a batch file (I went with C:\Program Files\LOVE\loveit.bat ) with the following script: "C:\Program Files\LOVE\love.exe" %1 In the Execute text box of nppexec, run the following command: "C:\Pro...

Re: Problem with LOVE and Notepad++ [nppexec]
Try adding love to your PATH variable and instead of using the love directory just type: "love" "$(CURRENT_DIRECTORY)" I rememmber having this issue back in 0.8.0. That literally does the exact same thing. I've had LOVE in my path variables for ages, only reason I changed the co...

Problem with LOVE and Notepad++ [nppexec]
If I try to launch a LOVE2D game through nppexec, the game hangs without creating a window. The nppexec console never goes past "Process started >>>" until I go into Task Manager, find love.exe, and shut it down. Launching it normally using the same exact command line option works just fin...
