Haha, that's pretty funny! I didn't realize that I had to get the return value from coroutine.yield. Up to now I guess the stuff I have been doing didn't require it!
Thanks muchly!

Weird coroutine issue
Hey all! I'm having a strange issue with coroutines. I'm writing a dialog system for my game, and I use a coroutine for each dialog. In the dialog coroutine, I yield with two things: A string to display in the dialog box, and a table with a bunch of strings to choose from, when being asked a questio...

Re: Using Löve2D as C++ library
Interesting! I still haven't learned much C++, but I would definitely use Love if it was available. Love has really helped me to learn Lua, too!

Re: Ludum Dare 28 Warmup!
The blinky ones move slightly differently; they accelerate towards you, while the others move at a fixed speed. They usually get stuck behind walls which can make them fly off the screen. Each level is about 30 seconds, I bet you will be able to make it to level 3 in no time!

Re: Love2D Gradients
You can make gradients using shaders http://www.love2d.org/wiki/PixelEffect I don't know anything about shaders. I don't understand them to the point where they seem like magic! I'll look into that stuff, though. I just need a simple example to build off of, like a red square! The documentation at ...

Roomies!
Hey everyone, I made a new game! It's called Roomies, and it's a fresh sandbox game designed for role-playing (in the pretend sense, like kids in a sandbox). The graphics are very minimal, to help your imagination fill the gaps. You only use rectangles to create your world. Label the rectangles to t...
