Re: What's everyone working on? (tigsource inspired)
I'm working on a small multiplayer space game. I currently have some of the login and such working, which involved getting MySQL access and a working WHIRLPOOL hash... fun times. I'll probably get a working demo up some time this coming week.

Re: Grace (Alpha 3) - object-oriented framework for LÖVE
Yep, I've seen it. :P But some things just completely confuse me. For example, what do I pass to Input.define()? I've been experimenting. So far, the closest I've come to getting it to work is this: Input.define('turnLeft', {'key', 'a'}) But that doesn't work. EDIT: I found something that WORKS, but...

Re: Grace (Alpha 3) - object-oriented framework for LÖVE
I like this framework. I'm crazy about organization myself, so it's pretty well suited to me. The problem is... there's almost no documentation other than some (sometimes vague) comments in the code. If you could show me an actual usage of this, it'd clear things up immensely. I'm not sure what to d...

Unicorns
Aren't they so beautiful? I really wish I had one. I would name mine Peter and I would ride him everywhere. He would become my dynamic companion, and we would travel together for miles and miles, nursing our relationship as well as our bodies. Oh how I wish I had a unicorn.

TechnoCat summed it up for me, so I don't actually have anything to add.

Re: Forum Super Project - ÖRGY
Personally, I don't like fighting games. Button mashing games just don't get much interest out of me. I like games that involve a bit more thinking, like an economy/exploration based space game.

Re: Compendium - An "original" space shooter
Just thought I'd leave an update... I am still working on Compendium. Today saw the rage-quit of my attempt at a GUI library, and the introduction of HUMP's lovely camera. Personally, I believe the flight controls are perfectly suited for what I have in mind. Tomorrow, I'll finish my addition of bas...

Re: A game about growing plants (beta 3 released)
Survival mode is a cool concept, but gameplay is a little bland. It's too fast to really put any thought into it, so it becomes click as fast as possible.
