I would love to see a conversion of the source code repository from mercurial to git. I think github as a hoster is a rather bad idea as most free software projects are moving away from it. I would rather see GitLab or similiar. Yes, git community is more activity, that's can help love2d to evolve....

Besides, GitHub is or will soon be owned by MS. I've already closed all my repos there and I will be leaving it probably by the end of this year.
