Judging by the screenshots, you nailed the newgrounds-era flash-game vibe
I should give it a quick play at some point, looking cool

Re: A hacky replacement for stencils? (Lovebrew/Löve potion)
That would've taken me an eternity to figure out, thank you!
I've yet to adapt it to my code and try it on the actual hardward, but I'll get back to you once I do!
That would make this the second game of mine in whose credits you'd appear (provided you don't mind).
Well, if I finish it, that is^^

A hacky replacement for stencils? (Lovebrew/Löve potion)
Hey there fellow lövers! So, the inofficial (but nonetheless genius) 3ds port of Löve doesn't support stencils, but I love the idea of making a game for 3ds, even if it's only homebrew. Is there any way to emulate stencils without support for, well stencils and shaders? I thought about using love.gr...

Re: Isomap 0.04 released
I finally took time to try it. Very impressive, and you're iterating fast. When do you plan to release a "stable" version? i learn Löve (and Lua) in the exclusive goal of making a non-violent vegan game so i will release every version of my engine in the same time i devellop a story and m...

Re: Which UI library to use for cross-platform game input?
Designed for Android, I only know of Gööi - https://love2d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=79751 but it's unmaintained. The creator has announced he's working on a new one - https://love2d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=234029#p234029 but for now, Gööi may be the only option. Thanks, I'll have a loo...

Which UI library to use for cross-platform game input?
What do you use when you know you want to port a game to Android/iOS, and thus need to translate your keyboard inputs to on-screen buttons? Or do you just roll your own implementation? (I'm also asking myself what the most practical way of including that would be - maybe doing a require in the main....

Re: Cave Bird!
I just played it - the music really adds to the atmosphere. I really appreciate the way you "feel" gravity, in how the bird accelerates as you drop, and the energy carries forward as you climb. The wind trail is a really nice touch. Using a blooming flower as a save point was a great flour...

Re: Cave Bird!
Another alternative is to use meshes for the scenario instead of tiles, which is how I'd do it, but your Lvg library is not designed to do that, so it would be a lot of work to redesign it or create a new one that can import polygons as mesh (with the help of love.math.triangulate). But I believe i...

Re: Cave Bird!
A level editor is a lot of work. Have you considered Tiled? I should probably look into tiled for another project - The problem with this one being that I exclusively use SVGs as tiles, and I think Tiled doesn't really do vector graphics. (At least I didn't find anything after a quick search, so I ...

Re: Cave Bird!
Nice work! The download said it was damaged (mac) when I first tried it, but the .love file inside the app worked just fine. Enjoyed it, kudos! Thank you! :) I do have to admit it's been a while since I had the possibility to test the mac build - thanks for the heads up, I'll probably have to fix s...
