Re: The Binding of Crate Box
This game is quite addictive. I played it through about a month or two ago, for the third time. It's still not quite good, because of the easy win strategies, but I just wanted so say I'd like to see it evolve. Sorry for not providing some more useful input.

Re: Common game translations
Pluralization is handled like so: points.one=Point points.other=Points Where ".one" is used for one instance and ".other" is used for zero more than one instance. Won't work for all languages out there. See Unicode's Language Plural Rules . And I knew about those because of kiki...

Re: Common game translations
TMX is not really a way to replace ini/lua libraries. It is meant to help a translator. See, translation tools extract the text to be translated and split it up into segments. Then the translator translates the segments one by one. At every new segment, the software compares the source text with all...

Re: Common game translations
So with the creation of TBX files, what are we looking to use them for? Are we looking to make it easier for translators to download a TBX, do a few translations, and then contribute them back into the Google Docs spreadsheet? Or are we looking to produce them so games can use something like a TBX ...

Re: Common game translations
Bozo, for the tab-delimited glossary, I'm not too sure how it'd be structured or how it'd be used – what source and target mean for instance. Just to be used as a glossary for humans to look through? Mind giving me an example with a few lines and two sections, please? (a few lines from lang/audio e...

Re: Common game translations
It's currently generating .ini files, and I'll probably be looking into some other formats if they would be useful. If you guys have any other formats you think would be useful, please let me know! I would suggest, for small and medium-sized strings, a tab-delimited glossary (simple utf8 encoded te...

Re: [LD29] Mole Empire (0.3.0)
Good looking game. Unfortunately, it boils my CPU and shuts down my computer (although I think we can blame it on the weather, partially).

Re: Common game translations
kikito has made an internationalization library that seems to deal with numbers well. But it doesn't handle gender, or elisions. Maybe it could be expanded upon. I also heard about a great JavaScript framework called L20n, that I haven't really checked out, but if it's all that good, then it might i...

GLSL syntax hihglighting for the wiki
The wiki doesn't currently have syntax highlighting for GLSL, although it seems to be available. It might be a cool feature to add, even though it would be seldom used.

Re: this blog post looks weird
Hm, to me it seems like the blue is a bit lower than the red. I had noticed that earlier, but assumed it was an optical illusion.
