Thanks for you time
Really useful post. I think I'm generally not well educated when it comes to the mental-framework of making a game, that is, all parts included. Not just me and the engine. (if that makes sense)

I'm scared to use love.physics because of the wiki message.
On the wiki page it says love.physics is not lightweight-- I've heard this term used for technology in a few ways. - File Size - Performance It was also said to be difficult to use. I'm pretty comfortable with physics, have taken a 101 course and feel that I should know how to use the module. Howeve...

Thanks for the input guys, I made the appropriate fixes and nothing shows up when I expect it to still. I attached a working version. Used love.polygon instead of meshes. I made the code easy to understand so please look at it. Thank you so much :) thats pretty great of you, I really appreciate it!...

Re: Need an artist for a game.
I would have no problem with auditioning for the role. I'm fairly decent with Photoshop and the sort. I'm not your "wacom graphics tablet X2500GXM+ TURBO" sort of guy, but I am art-minded and could even have interesting input for your game idea

Are meshes visible in LoVE? If so, what is wrong with this?
After reading a bit about Lua, I decided to start tinkering with a program for LoVE. This proved difficult. The idea is that I simply draw a rectangle with the mouse, similar to how the desktop creates a bounding box when you click and then drag. With this code I am expecting a purple block to appea...

Re: The difference between logic and aesthetic (need help PT
Without code I don't know if I understand your question at all, but love.graphics.draw can take an image as the first argument and the remaining arguments for position, rotation, scale, etc. Something along these lines. Thanks for the input... I guess I'm just really illiterate as far as working wi...

Re: The difference between logic and aesthetic (need help PT
But adding graphics in LÖVE is another trick. Would I be left making small image files and placing them perfectly over my table-drawn rectangles? Or is there some sort of function that would lay an image over a shape? This quote seems to make sense to me, I hope I'm not tarded D: I was really askin...

Re: The difference between logic and aesthetic (need help PT
I'd like to answer your question, with a question: Do you know what they are? You either don't know what logic is, don't know what aesthetic means or don't know what either means. If that's the case: You should know what logic is. I'm not going to explain it. Aesthetics, for lack of a better descri...

Judging by the views count opposed to the number of replies I can safely assume myself an idiot
