Re: [Library] splashy - Easy Splash Screens

Cool idea. I understand that most of the time the function of the splash screen is to communicate to the user that the program is indeed launching while it does whatever it needs to to get the program working. In love, the programs tend to be a little smaller and therefore quicker to load, so most p...

Re: Oysi's 3D Rendering & Physics Engine

That's cool you guys are interested, but this thread is taking a pretty big detour. I will start a new, general discussion on the topic containing more info when I have some free time (hopefully within 48h).

Dr. Gourlay uses the discrete vortex method (DVM) for the first 16 articles, and then discusses Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH), from...

Re: LÖVE, Eh?

The boolean checker functions are funny, but not actually practical, but I was inspired by your joke and wrote this snippet which will allow the Canadian/English spelling of the word colour in function names: if love and love.graphics then love.graphics.getBackgroundColour = love.graphics.getBackgro...

Re: has anyone used RUBE successfully with love2d?

hairy puppy, I have been lurking in the love forums for a while and I haven't seen any mention of work regarding a love loader for RUBE scenes or even a quick-and-dirty loader used for a specific project. That being said, I am working on a physics-based game using love, and I have intentions to begi...

Comprehensive list of audio formats

Sorry if this is a repeat question but I could not find this information anywhere. The Audio Tutorial lists some of the audio formats supported by the love.sound but then says:
[and it supports] over twenty others
What are these 20 other formats?
